There is a Long History behind this kind of International Event....
PARIS MANGA SCI-FI SHOW - The Internatioonal Event dedicated to Pop Culture was held October 5-6, 2019 at Porte De Versailles (Paris) where various and Rich Themes were proposed to (most of the time) Young & Very Young Public. There is a Long History behind this kind of International Event inspired by Sci-fi Cons which are often considered the First Fan Conventions, historically centering on Science Fiction Books and Literature. They have expanded to all sorts of Media, including Television, Movies, and beyond, and can very heavily on Sub-Genres focused on. Each Convention is unique with a Different Style, but most feature comment elements: Guests, typically either Sci-Fi Authors or Actors, and Events, typically including Panels, Discussions, and Autograph Signings.
MANGA are Comics or Graphic Novels created in Japan or by Person using the Japanese Language and conforming to a Style developed in Japan in the late 19th Century. They have a Long and Complex Pre-History in earlier Japanese Art. The Term is a Word used to refer to Both Comics and Cartooning. Outside Japan, the Word is used to refer to Comics originally published in Japan. Manga Stories are typically printed in Black-And-White, although some Full-Color Manga exist. In Japan, Manga are usually Serialized in Large Manga Magazines, often containing Many Stories, each presented in a Single Episode to be continued in the Next Issue.

A COMIC BOOK also called Comic Magazine or simply Comic, is a publication that consists of comics art in the form of sequential juxtaposed panels that represent individual scenes. Panels are often accompanied by Descriptive Prose and Written Narrative, usually, Dialog contained in Word Balloons emblematic of the Comics Art Form. Although Comics has some Origins in 18th Century Japan, Comic Books were first popularized in the United States and the United Kingdom during the 1930s. The First Modern Comic Book, Famous Funnies, was released in the U.S. in 1933 and was a Reprinting of Earlier Newspaper Humor Comic Strips, which had established many of the Story-Telling Devices used in Comics The Term Comic Book derives from American Comic Books once being a Compilation of Comic Strips of a Humorous Tone; however, this Practice was replaced by featuring Stories of All Genres, usually not Humorous in Tone.
DC COMICS, Inc. is an American Comic Book Publisher. It is the Publishing Unit of DC Entertainment, a Subsidiary of Warner Bros. since 1967. DC Comics is one of the Largest and Oldest American Comic Book Companies. The Majority of its Publications take place within the Fictional DC Universe and feature Numerous Culturally Iconic Heroic Characters, most notably Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman, among many others. The Universe also features Well-Known Supervillains such as Lex Luthor, the Joker, Catwoman, and the Penguin. The Company has published Non-DC Universe-Related Material, including Watchmen, V for Vendetta, and many Titles under their Alternative Imprint Vertigo. The Initials "DC" came from the Company's Popular Series Detective Comics, which featured Batman's Debut and subsequently became Part of the Company's Name.

SCIENCE FICTION (Sci-Fi or SF) is a Genre of Speculative Fiction that has been called the "Literature Of Ideas". It typically deals with Imaginative and Futuristic Concepts such as Advanced Science and Technology, Time Travel, Parallel Universes, Fictional Worlds, Space Exploration, and Extraterrestrial Life. It often explores the Potential Consequences of Scientific Innovations. Science Fiction, whose Roots go back to Ancient Times, is related to Fantasy, Horror, and Superhero Fiction, and contains many Subgenres. However its exact Definition has long been disputed among Authors, Critics, and Scholars. Science Fiction Literature, Film, Television, and other Media have become Popular and Influential over much of the World. Besides providing Entertainment, it can also criticize Present-Day Society.
